Having not posted anything for a short while, I spent a bit of time today to read over everyone's posts and have come to the conclusion that it's true. True Independent style films are a thing of the past. These days it is just a watered down, low budget Hollywood and well, what's there to say? We all need to eat. Everyone wants sellable over viewable.

I haven't seen one english speaking film this year or last, independent or not which was not a Hollywood screen solution without money. I used to think Jane Campion was courageous and then she turned up with the crap that was Holy Smoke. Can anyone give me a good *film* (notice I don't use the word 'movie') to watch to get me to believe otherwise?
